These Terms comply with EU consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and applicable national legislation.

1. About our service

NextStep Writers ("we", "us", "our") provides custom academic writing, research assistance, editing and data analysis services to clients in Europe and internationally. All work is supplied as model work — reference material to support your own research and learning.

By placing an order you confirm that you understand and accept your institution's academic integrity policies. You are solely responsible for how you use the work we provide.

2. Eligibility

Our services are available to individuals aged 18 and over. By placing an order you confirm that you are 18 or older and have legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. How orders work

4. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

Under the Consumer Rights Directive, EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from service contracts. However, by expressly requesting that work commence before the 14-day period expires, you waive this right. We will seek your express confirmation of this waiver before commencing work.

If you have not requested early commencement, you may withdraw within 14 days of order confirmation at no cost, provided no work has begun.

5. Delivery and deadlines

Delivery timelines are agreed at the time of order confirmation. We will notify you promptly if any circumstances may affect your deadline. For projects over 5,000 words, milestone drafts are shared at agreed intervals.

6. Revisions

Every order includes up to three free revision rounds within the original brief scope. Requests that materially change the scope, topic or length may incur additional charges, quoted before work begins.

7. Intellectual property

Upon full payment, all work product is assigned to you. We retain no rights. We do not resell, publish or share work created for a specific client.

8. Confidentiality and GDPR

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). All project information is treated as strictly confidential.

9. Limitation of liability

Our liability in connection with any order is limited to the fees paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable EU law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the applicable national laws of the EU member state in which you reside, to the extent that mandatory consumer protection provisions apply.

11. Online dispute resolution

EU consumers may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform to resolve disputes.
